Have we signed Nasri?!

According to reports today we’ve signed the French international player; Samir Nasri….

He can play on the left or through the middle much like Hleb, so will this mean Hleb is really off the Inter Milan or Barcelona or wherever he’s going? Obviously this also means a bit more stablity given the departure of Flamini.

Vela on the way for next season

Arsenal have been given the work permit for Carlos Vela, the 19 year old Mexican striker.

Carlos Vela

Arsene Wenger said: “Carlos has played the whole season at Osasuna on the left-wing and he had to work hard there,”

“But for me it is not his position. He is a central striker, an Eduardo type. He is a great young player.”

Vela has won the golden boot as top scorer at the 2005 Fifa Under 17 championsips and he’s signed a 5 year deal with us that could rise to over £2 million

Probably one of the best Premier League seasons ever…

BBC sport looks back over probably one of the best Premier League seasons ever, except for the fact we didn’t win it…At least it went right to the last game and it was never a ‘one horse race’ kind of season.

I think Wenger needs to spend some money in defence and now in midfield since Flamini is set to depart. Let’s hope Eduardo can get back on track after breaking his leg back in March, I hope he can start next season fully fit.

Flamini will complete AC Milan move this summer

The official announcement from the club has come, I think it was this Tuesday 6th May, that Mathieu Flamini will be joining AC Milan on a free transfer this summer.

Flamini has made 153 appearences for us and scored 8 goals, he joined from Marseille in 2004 and has been a regular in the first team.
