Arsenal’s future star Luke Freeman blesses first team opportunity

Arsenal’s 19-year-old star Luke Freeman is ecstatic about the chance his manager Arsene Wenger offered him upon his call-up to Arsenal’s first team and thinks that this will help launch his career. The striker had a brilliant start to the season with Arsenal’s second-string team scoring 5 goals in 9 games so far this season.

These performances helped the Englishman get noticed by Wenger who called him up to the first team for a few training sessions. The striker offered a statement for Arsenal’s official website which read:

“It’s great, you can tell the standard is a lot higher than playing with the Reserves or the youth team,”

“You feel like you learn so much even if it is in that quick hour-and-a-half training session.

“You’re playing with the best players in the world so you can’t not enjoy it. It is a great experience.”

“A lot of people say I play a bit like Arshavin so if people are saying that then maybe I look at him to see how he plays,”

“But I will look at any attacking player to see what they do; their movement, pace and how they finish.”

The 19-year-old English striker impressed Wenger with his latest performances and he might even get a crack at the first team if he keeps up the good work. Despite he’s not the tallest or strongest striker in the world he manages to compensate that through an excellent pace and a great ball control when running at full speed. Even though he has little chances of playing in Arsenal’s first team for important games, he would be a great asset for the French manager in the Carling Cup.

Am I right? Will he be able to bring some spice to Arsenal’s team in future games?
