Arsenal handed BIG boost for summer transfer of Dortmund star

It is shaping up to be a very tough battle between a fair few Premier League clubs over who will take the remaining two places for the Champions League next season, assuming that Chelsea and Man City do not collapse of course. Man United, Southampton, Spurs and Liverpool are all there or thereabouts, but Arsenal are past masters and are looking in great form to finish in the top four again.

And that will give us a big advantage over the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund when they attempt to keep hold of their stars in the summer. Another home defeat last night left Jurgen Klopp and his men two points adrift at the very bottom of the table, so unless they can somehow win the Champions League this season, they will have no European football to offer next year.

Their current players already know this and a few of them will almost certainly be heading out of the club at the end of the season, including the Arsenal target Henrikh Mkhitrayan. As a Metro report reveals, the Armenia international has already expressed his desire to move on according to his agent.

Mino Raiola said, “Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season.

“We will have to wait and see what we can do.”

But Arsenal have already been linked with transfer moves for two other Dortmund players, Mats Hummels and Marco Reus, so which, if any, should Arsene Wenger go for?
