Arsenal Has Rivals In Chase For Young Brazilian Ace
Arsenal’s scouts have identified a new prospect for the club a few months back, and with the January transfer season now closed with no action from the Gunners, Galatasaray or Fiorentina might attempt to get first to Brazilian wonderkid Casemiro and steal him from under Wenger’s nose.
Having already made his debut for the senior national squad at a very fresh age of 19, Casemiro is rumoured to cost some £15m to whoever will decide to go for him first, but with Wenger highly interested in young potential-filled footballers Arsenal might get to profit from the deal.
The Brazilian starlet is a regular player in the U-21 national squad, and since 2010 when he made his debut for Sao Paulo he managed to become a real asset to the club turning into the team’s engine providing great assists and even scoring a total of 7 goals since he started playing for the Brazilian squad.
Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger’s interest to transfer a new attacking midfielder is well known, and with Hazard at a very high price since a lot of top clubs took interest, the Frenchman might have to look elsewhere.
hello!
casemiro is not attacking midfielder, he’s a defensive midfielder who can also fill the box to box role. will wenger pay 15 millions for him? with coquelin in the team coz they are same type of player. casemiro can score more goals but coquelin is priceless, he can play anywhere. he can even take over from almunia as our third goalkeeper.
Well said !
Ok, if Wenger pay 15 m to him, will he get work permit ?
Good one Sam. I believe AW will be looking at more young talent from youth system then buy…. I think we are good enough
