Arsenal Have To Look For Another Striker Soon

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger got yet another piece of bad news as it seems that German international striker Lukas Podolski is not interested in joining the Gunners until the summer.

The striker announced that he’s not looking to leave his current club FC Koln and that he wants to help them win the league this season.

“I have always said that I have not been dictated by the pressures of time when deciding my future. I do not believe in lightening strikes, I must be clear. I believe that I will see everything in the summer.

“With Cologne I hope to get as high as possible, I want to exceed the number of goals I scored last season. With the national team I want to play in the European Championships in Poland, my homeland.

“We are among the favourites and our dream is to win the trophy, we cannot hide.”

Arsene Wenger is in search of a striker who he needs to bring to the club urgently with the January transfer season already in full swing and with Gervinho and Chamakh on the verge of leaving.

  1. Well, podolosik is wright, but wenger should try to make an agreement with him (before other clubs join the race to sign him)so that he joins us in the summer.otherwise, yakubu ,tores and tiote are more important in Arsenal than harzard, gaucuff and gotze.

  2. How about bendtner or vela? goalscorng recods are better than chamakh and gervinho and park and arshavin come to that.

  3. Lukas Podolski won’t come to Arsenal this january, give it up !! He will have to look into someone else and Wenger won’t spend very much either..so don’t expect Pato(from AC Milan) or Podolski. He might move Walcott in the middle instead as a striker and give the ox-chamberlin a chance on the wing….up to Wenger
