Arsenal MISS OUT on La Liga striker transfer!
Well that is one down for Arsenal! At least Arsene Wenger has plenty of time left to bring in the right player, or players, to boost the front line and firepower of the Gunners before the start of the new season in August.
Pedro Rodriguez had been the subject of some recent Arsenal transfer rumours, with the Barcelona and Spain international striker supposedly ready to leave the Nou Camp after a long career there, mainly due to his lack of playing opportunities behind their stellar attacking trio of Messi, Neymar and Suarez.
But a Daily Star report has revealed that Barca have persuaded Pedro to stay and sign a new contract that will keep the fast paced forward at the Catalan club until 2019.
