Arsenal Misses Transfer As Gotze Gets Injured

Arsenal fans can now stop blaming Wenger for not bringing in German star Mario Gotze, as the talented attacking midfielder just got a very bad injury which is bound to keep him out of the training grounds for at least 3 months.

According to an official statement on the German club Borussia Dortmund’s site, the youngster won’t be coming back any time soon, so a move by Wenger at this moment would be unreasonable.

“He will be out for six to eight weeks. That means Gotze will be back for the away game against Mainz 05 in mid-March at the earliest.”, stated the club’s official website.

Arsenal is sure to keep tracking Gotze, but for now he’s a lost cause. The Frenchman should think about setting another target because he can’t risk to go into the second part of the season with the midfielders that he currently has. The young German star will have to get back fit as soon as possible if he wants to be a part of his national squad at this year’s EURO. He helped the Germans snatch the qualification so he has every right to expect to be in the team, but he must get fit fast for that.
