Arsenal rumours roundup – Podolski, Berbatov, Sessegnon, Henry, Moreno and many more

1

Many Arsenal fans get withdrawal symptons when the transfer window shuts, but there are still lots of websites out there that seem quite happy to keep up a drip-feed of (usually ridiculous) Arsenal transfer rumours, so let’s have a look at a selection of the latest juiciest Arsenal gossip.

First of all we have a real bit of news about Lukas Podolski. He has made it clear that he is leaving Koln, and confirms that he speaks English. But of course that doesn’t mean he is moving to Arsenal, but we can all hope of course…..

Another big story is the news that Arsene Wenger has suggested that Thierry Henry could return again next winter. This story comes from one small line in Wengers post-match conference and just shows that it was a slow-news day….

But Henry himself says “Never say never” so you never know…..

Sunderlands latest hero Stephan Sessegnon has recently been linked to Arsenal, but he has now (quite sensibly) said that he is not interested in any transfer rumours until the end of the season. If only the red-tops felt the same way……

Another Arsenal rumour surfacing this morning is that Wenger may make a move for the Man Utd free-agent Dimitar Berbatov at the end of the season. That one is so unlikely on so many levels….

Here are the rest of the (more) unlikely Arsenal rumours around this morning:
Benfica youngster Rodrigo Moreno is wanted by Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City. Really…..

Arsenal are monitoring the situation of Fiorentina youngster, Matija Nastasic. It’s possible I guess….

The young Man City striker John Guidetti has been scoring for fun in Holland, and Arsenal’s interest is being revived apparently..

So it doesn’t look like the rumour-junkies are going to be short of a fix even though the transfer window is a long long way off in the future…………
