Arsenal set to SEAL DEAL for Gundogan transfer!!
Get ready to be happy Arsenal fans! At least if the latest Arsenal transfer rumours about our search for a central midfielder to add the steel to the Gunners creative but somewhat lightweight midfield are true that is.
Because the Metro and other media outlets are reporting that Arsenal are on the verge of completing the transfer of the Borussia Dortmund and Germany star Ilkay Gundogan. The report says that officials of the two clubs are due to thrash out the details of the 24-year old’s move from the Bundesliga to the Premier League this week.
Arsene Wenger has apparently decided that Gundogan is the player to complete our midfield and help us finish the season strongly, even though he will be cup-tied for the crucial Champions League games after playing for Dortmund. And the Frenchman has apparently made an offer of £15.6 million for Gundogan, who seems to have refused all offers of an extension to his current contract with the German club.
If they get their fingers out, perhaps Gundogan could even be available for the EPL game away to Man City on Sunday. Wouldn’t that be a timely boost for Arsenal?
