Arsenal starting Line-Up for Newcastle – WALCOTT starts?

It will have been pretty easy for Arsene Wenger to prepare his Arsenal team for today’s Premier League away game against Newcastle United, as their manager John Carver admitted this week that he only had 13 fit outfield players to choose from.

So the Arsenal boss does not have to worry too much about which players or system his Gunners will have to contend with today ,and he should be able to set his own team up accordingly in order to exploit the home teamĀ“s problems. This game is the last before the international break but I still think the Boss will use it to rest a few key players, like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and perhaps Mertesacker, Monreal and Bellerin.

Arsenal will start Theo Walcott on the right against their inexperienced left back, with Giroud likely to give their makeshift central defence real problems. The right back Janmaat has been excellent but the pace and power of Welbeck should help to keep him pinned back.

They have a strong central midfield in Sissoko and Colback so Ramsey and Cazorla need to be on their game to dominate the ball. They have a lot of pace in their front four so this is no time to drop Coquelin and it will probably be Mertesacker who Gabriel replaces. I would not be surprised to see Gibbs and Chambers come in at full back as well.

Ospina
Chambers, Gabriel, Koscielny, Gibbs
Coquelin, Ramsey
Walcott, Cazorla, Welbeck
Giroud

Is this the right Arsenal XI to beat Newcastle today?
