After the midweek defeat away to the Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, Arsenal really need a shot in the arm, morale wise, and Arsene Wenger will hope that the Capital One Cup performance does not carry over into our Premier League campaign.

The manager’s team selection options have also been limited by the cup game, especially in the atacking areas of the pitch and even more on the right wing. It looks fairly certain that the player to come in and fill the gap will be Joel Campbell, with Olivier Giroud as our centre forward and Alexis Sanchez completing the front three.

Apart from that, Wenger can name his strongest side, so the usual back five of Cech, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Monreal will start, with Cazorla and Coquelin in front of them and Mesut Ozil pulling the creative strings in the number 10 role.

THe home team Swnasea have been given a boost by winning their last game after a poor run of results and they also have a good recent record against Arsenal, so this may be a day where we have to be patient and organised and will need to make the most of the chances that come our way.
