The betting spree continues even though the Premiership has ended and the EURO has yet to start. Gunner fans can still earn some money if they’re inspired enough, as a few transfers are rumoured around the Gunners headquarters.
A more than idealistic transfer, Llorente’s move to Arsenal has a 33 odd (which is sure to bring a fortune), but will probably never come true as clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona or City are roaring to take him.
Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
Another rather idealistic transfer is that of Schalke striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar. The Dutchman has snubbed a contract extension and is believed to leave, being linked with United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Some say that a move to Emirates is a bit far-fetched, but the betting houses offer a pretty realistic odd of 12.
The Belgian international is sure to make a move this summer away from Lille, and the Gunners have been watching him for over two seasons now. Despite this, they’re only quoted with a 33 odd, while the likes of City, United or Chelsea seem much more likely to land him.
Okay, okay, this is not a bet about a transfer, but it’s too good not to take into consideration. The German striker’s impact on the Premiership is still to be seen, but the bookies offer a 1.73 odd of Podolski to score more than 11 goals next season, and a 2 odd of him scoring less than 10.
Where do you think your money should be, and what do you think is going to happen next season with Arsenal?
