Arsenal’s Defender Out For 3 Weeks
Arsenal’s left-back Andre Santos confirmed that he’ll be unavailable for a while after he had his ankle checked. The Brazilian got injured in the match against Olympiakos and will probably be out for a while, missing the very important matches against Everton and City.
“I twisted my ankle in a silly move.”, said Santos
“The doctor thinks I’ll be out for three weeks.”
This is a very big problem for Wenger who will now have to play with 4 centre backs on the defensive line after Koscielny took over the right back position since Sagna got injured. Now Vermaelen will probably have to play on the left side and Djourou will cover the centre, but against a team like City an improvised defence like this one might not be such a good idea.
