Arsene Wenger will surely feel confident that Arsenal can come away from Anfield with all three points on Sunday. The manager was probably already rubbing his hands together at the prospect of adding to Liverpool and Brendan Rodgers misery this season, but will be relishing the trip to Anfield even more now.
Sky Sports have reported the good news, for Arsenal, that Rodgers will have to do without his summer signing Mario Balotelli for the clash with the Gunners. The Italy international has received a one match nan from the FA after his dozy post on social media managed to offend Jewish and black people alike.
Liverpool also look like they will have to do without three first choice defenders, with Dejan Lovren having picked up an injury to join Glen Johnson and Jon Flanagan on the sidelines. So the awesome Arsenal attack will probably be facing a back three of Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Sakho who has played hardly any football recently. That sounds like a recipe for goals galore to me!
