Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger seems to think that club legendary striker Thierry Henry would still be able to play in the Premiership with no problem, but the Frenchman says that he hasn’t yet thought about the possibility of bringing him back.
Henry has been training with Arsenal for the last month and will continue to do so until the MLS will start again and he will have to join his club New York Red Bulls.
“At the moment, Thierry Henry just practices with us. I haven’t even investigated that.
“I cannot tell you even if there is a chance because I haven’t even made any approach, not to him nor his club.”
The statement comes after a pervious set of questions from two weeks back when Wenger admitted that Henry is the best striker in Arsenal’s history and that’s why he now has a statue in front of the stadium.
Everton’s manager approached the French striker last week when Arsenal played against the Liverpool side and told Henry that he would be welcomed to join his club if he is interested in something like that. The question now is whether Henry would be able to play for Arsenal once again or not. What do you think?
