For once I would just like to get some explanation from the team management as to why they are allowing the team to go down like this. If the money is available then why is it not spent. If they don’t have the money, why can’t they just say we don’t have the money to spend. But it seems like they just keep the fans on a leash, and this is just wrong and disrespectful. I have been a fan for over 40 years.

If we don’t make 4th place and the ECL it will be harder to hold on to RVP and harder to attract anyone else. That is the result of our squad descending from greatness in some 7 years while most other clubs have been maintaining high standards or improving eg. Spurs.

As Merse rightly said last week. 7 years ago a bout one Spurs player would have made the Arsenal team. Now it is vice versa. Congratulations M. Wenger – not helped by Directors who know too little to pull him into line. We are in big trouble and it has been looming clearly.

I say bring back hleb and flamini. Ok they may be a little older, injury problems etc but they where the closest midfield we had to winning title. I really don’t see midfield we currently have winning titles. No back bone, no title or cup winning mentality running through the under belly of the club. Only van Persie is close to this stature. Gervinho is a great talent, but hope he doesn’t go the same way as Arshavin.. Great start to arsenal career, then fade. Wenger has a real problem. He got rid of the winning mentality in the club too quickly. If he had added the right players to the 2008 squad instead of ripping it apart I believe we would have won something by now. Not players ability, but mentality is what this arsenal squads problem is. Fail at the decisive points in seasons. Every year. Aaaaarrrrgh.

for me, I think that, Wenger should get Montolivo to replace Ramsey and Mirallas to replace Chamakh/Park. And imho, Bartley is better than Djourou but he’s too young. But, it’s better to buy another one. And I think, Jagielka would be the ideal defender to replace the Swiss. He has experience and he’ll be cheaper than those over-rated defenders.

Just proves my point that the manger of any team cannot get it right every time.
Do your homework and you will find that under Arsene we have the most successful manager in our history.
His transfer dealings are still showing massive plus figures..befoere you say where has that money gone, where would we be if he hadnt made the profit? Usmanov need to get onto the board so we can all see this.

Apart fromSqully all the other you mention are full internationals.
