For any Arsenal fans that might be cursing our luck and worrying about the lengthy injury list that Arsene Wenger is faced with, I have a few crumbs of comfort for you.

For one thing, Arsenal have more than enough quality to cope with the current injury problems, especially against a West Brom team that is struggling to reproduce their form of last season and were easily beaten by a not very good Man United team in their last outing.

And for another, I would rather be in our position than that of either Manchester City or United, because both of them have big issues and they should find them harder to deal with. Louis van Gaal takes his side to Watford who had the best defence in the league until we beat them 3-0 and it took a long time for us to break the deadlock. United have to do it without Rooney, Martial and Fellaini and that leaves them a big hole in their attacking line up.

City host a Liverpool that is looking better and better under Jurgen Klopp and they have to do so without their best defender Kompany, their best creative player Silva and with an Aguero just back and nursing a hamstring problem. Which team would you back to win this weekend?
