This Arsenal transfer rumour has been doing the rounds for some time now, but when it did not happen last summer or in the January transfer window, it seemed to have been all over, but now the Real Madrid and Germany international midfield star Sami Khedira has opened the door once more to a transfer to Arsenal at the end of this season.
As Metro have reported, the World Cup winner has dropped a huge hint that his time at the Santiago Bernabeu may soon be up. And after Madrid were beaten by the Bundesliga club Schalke this week, Khedira did not rule out a move back to his home country, or anywhere else for that matter.
He said, “Am I open to Schalke?
“I am open to many teams.”
The 26-year old central midfielder could be the ideal player to further strengthen the spine of the Gunners team and there is another massive thing in the favour of this transfer for Arsene Wenger. He is available on a FREE transfer. The wages would be pretty hefty but I think Arsenal can handle that these days.
So is Khedira coming to join his mate Ozil in north London?
