Giroud to start for Arsenal at Man United?
I may be in the minority of Arsenal fans here, but I still believe that our French centre forward Olivier Giroud is a very good player and is a very realistic option for Arsene Wenger to use in the centre forward role. So even if the Chile international star Alexis Sanchez has been passed fully fit and the Frenchman has no qualms about using him then I would not be surprised to see Giroud in the starting line up against Manchester United today.
Even though the game is being played at Old Trafford in front of the United fans who wuill want their team to be on the front foot, this is a Jose Mourinho team we are talking about and I can see them sitting back and trying to stifle our attacking flair. United are the favourites for some reason, but I think Arsenal are much better value for the win, and I will be checking out the free bets at SBAT before splashing my money on the away win!
We all know that the physical attributes and aerial ability of Giroud could be crucial as we could utilise the width of the pitch and get balls into the box and the big striker does give defenders a lot to cope with and he is a very good link up man in tight situations.
Do not forget that Alexis Sanchez has been a very effective player for the Gunners on the left flank or that Alex Iwobi’s performances have dropped off a bit of late and get ready for Giroud. Whoever starts we want it to be a fast one that leads to a dominant Arsenal showing and a vital win. COYG!
