Gunners set for surprise move for Arsenal Old Boy!

Well this would be a turnup for the books if this Arsenal transfer rumour is true. The Gunners let the very promising midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup move to Besiktas three years ago for a cut-price 500,000 GBP, but it is now being reported in the Express that Arsene Wenger has sent scouts to Turkey to watch him in action.

They say that Arsenal are considering making a 7m bid to bring him back to the Emirates. The scouts were treated to a great team goal finished off by the ex-Gunner, which you can watch here on Forza Besiktas

Although Ozyakup was actually born in Holland of Turkish descent, he now plays regularly for the Turkey national team and has now caught the attention of many clubs. He was linked with a move to West Ham last week, and it has been reported that Inter Milan scouts were also alongside Arsenal ones at the weekend.

The 23 year-old never actually made a League game for the Gunners although he did play twice in the League Cup. Do you think he is now good enough to return to the fold?
