How can Arsenal keep Alexis Sanchez from Juventus transfer?

Arsenal may have started to find form and get going after a slow start to the new Premier League season, we are still a sizable five points of the league leaders Man City and under their new manager Pep Guardiola they are looking ominously strong.

The Gunners could really do with somebody stopping their momentum and not just for our hopes of winning the title but in our hopes of keeping hold of our best players. Two of those, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, are apparently in talks at the moment about signing extensions to their current contracts.

The feeling is that our German playmaker is happy with life as a Gunner and is likely to stay but the situation with the Chilean striker is much more doubtful, especially now that Talksport have reported strong transfer interest in Sanchez from the Italian Serie A champions Juventus.

The report claims that Juve are set to launch a bid for the forward in January and we may struggle to fight them off, especially if our title chances are looking weak and the Turin club’s are looking strong. Thankfully they are not running away with the Italian league at the minute after defeat to Inter Milan at the weekend left them second being Napoli.

But they showed with the mega money signing of Gonzalo Higuain this summer that they mean business and can match the EPL clubs for spending power, so what are the chances that Arsenal will lose the star striker in January?
