Is Fabregas Trying To Convince Robin To Choose Barca?

2

Arsenal’s former captain Cesk Fabregas declared that he’s not trying to tempt his former colleague and actual Gunner skipper Robin Van Persie to join Barcelona, but hinted that everything worked out excellent for him and that he’s happy with the move he made.

“I talk to him but not about Barca,” Fabregas told El Mundo Deportivo.

“He is an Arsenal player and he knows what is best for him. I only wish the best of luck for him before he makes whatever decision he will make.”

“Everything that I did to come here and all the help that I received from Barca, from the coach, the president and my team-mates has been worth the effort,” added Fabregas.

We can’t blame Fabregas for leaving for Barcelona the way he did after a lengthy period when the Gunners weren’t winning anything, but we do have to admit that he was a bit malicious when he said that everything worked out smoothly for him after leaving Arsenal. We can all understand that he’s happy in Barcelona but it’s completely unethical to tempt Robin out of the club.

Regardless of Fabregas’ actions one thing is for sure. Wenger must do something quick to win at least one trophy and create a competitive team if he doesn’t want to lose all of his quality players.
