Lille admit that Eden Hazard is leaving France this summer

One of Arsenal’s most wanted transfer target Eden Hazard’s summer move has finally been confirmed by French side Lille’s officials, as the Ligue 1 side is getting ready to face the next season without him and find a worthy replacement.

While a destination has yet been revealed, Lille’s president Michel Seydoux stated that the club can’t hold the attacking midfielder any longer and that they need to finally listen to offers coming in for his services.

“Eden wants a European experience outside France. We cannot hold him.

“If he already spent two more seasons in France, it is because we have been a very strong club. We make no sales here.”

It is believed that Lille is looking to replace Hazard with Chelsea’s young star Kevin de Bruyne, who after being bought by the Blues was allowed to continue playing for Genk and a loan deal which is about to end in the summer has been completed.

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has been scouting Hazard for two whole seasons now and it would be a huge shame if the Belgian star will choose to join some other club, especially if we think about the lack of offensive midfielders Arsenal has at the moment.

  1. well we all know that wenger is the stingiest managers we have all come to know but if wenger’s thinking is a bad as ramseys play he wont sign hazard coz he is an exceptional talent i cud sign hum with my eyes closed then when/if he goes to manu and wins player of the year he`s agent will laugh at arsenal`s slowness just like c. ronaldo and besides where does all the money he keeps go i mean seriously it is can reach £30 m which is enough for him.

He’s goin to man u, we cnt match their offer, but hopefully we’ll get M’vila and vertongen, wit those players plus podolski, we can have a title challenging team next year, providing we keep Van persie tho,

  3. Chris says:

Get real, he will be sold for in excess of £30m. That’s us out full stop. I don’t think we will even sign m’vila for £20m . Look historically at our spending? The record is Arshavin at £16. Wake up guys and girls!
