No Ox! Will Arsenal regret team selection?

0

It must have been pretty easy for Arsene Wenger to bring Alexis Sanchez back into the Arsenal team for today´s trip to face Crystal Palace, but the decision about who to replace to do it would have been harder. To be honest, I was not expecting it to be Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain though.

The Ox was the only Arsenal player who could hold his head up after last week´s woe and for him to be left on the bench today is a bold move by the boss. That is what he is paid for I suppose but he must realise that there will be hell to pay if the likes of Ramsey, Cazorla and Giroud fail to give us a crucial three points today.

With Theo Walcott also on the bench, Wenger has reduced the possible directness and goal threat in our team and in my opinion is risking another tippy-tappy and possession based disaster that we saw against West Ham. So do you think that Wenger will be left with egg on his face from this questionable Arsenal team selection?
