Real Madrid forward ready to make Arsenal transfer

Arsenal may be struggling to get the transfer of the France international striker Karim Benzema done, although there is still time and apparently a realistic chance that we might get him just before the summer transfer window closes, but his club team mate is a different matter.

You might not have heard of Dennis Cheryshev, because he has not played a single La Liga game for the Spanish club despite having been on their books since 2002. But he is only 24-years old and was very successful for their B team and for Villarreal last season where he was on loan.

But the Romanian international, whose main position is as a winger or wide forward, has finally accepted that he needs to move on to get the regular first team football that his talents deserve, as reported by Metro.

Villarreal wanted to take him on a permanent deal but could not afford to pay the transfer fee of around £15 million. So with him reportedly being very keen on signing for Arsenal, will Cheryshev be the next Real Madrid player to head for north London? And will he soon be joined by Benzema?
