This is great news for Arsenal fans, on the same day that one so/called Spanish La Liga expert warned us that Arsenal had left it too late to complete the transfer of the central midfield star Grzegorz Krychowiak. He claimed that we would need to make a ridiculous offer to sign the Polan international from Sevilla because they have plenty of money.

But this expert does not seem to know his stuff too well, because according to a Metro report the player has a release clause in his contract of around £21 million. So the report claims that the Spanish club are very concerned that they are set to lose their star player to Arsenal.

Krychowiak has previously said that there is a list of clubs that he would not be able to turn down so if the4 Gunners are on that list, we could soon be seeing this talented and versatile 25-year old running out in the red and white. But is he the right player to give Arsenal the boost we need to win the Premier League?

  1. Very similar to Coqulein in ability, so decent in that regard. Surprising buy for Wenger given he typically goes for players with more technical ability.

  2. How is it this legal release clause is for all clubs except ‘pool? Why was a case against them not made at the time?
