Arsenal’s left-back Andre Santos is delighted about getting the chance to play every match for Arsenal and he thinks that as long as Arsenal don’t lose any game the streak they’re on will continue to be a positive one even though they only got a draw out of the Fulham game.
“It wasn’t an easy game, Fulham have a quality team,” he told Arsenal.com. “We tried hard even harder in the second half but unfortunately the second goal didn’t come.
“We faced a very good opponent and maybe we didn’t have our best performance but we still have the chance to keep up this good run we’re having.
“The most important thing is that we didn’t lose the game and the team showed spirit.
“It is very important to a team to keep a regular stable run and we are doing that, we’re trying to accumulate as many points as we can now,” he added. “There is still a long season ahead of us.”
Santos is actually right. As long as they don’t lose games Arsenal should be on the right path to success. It will be a tough task to keep the streak though, because The Gunners are going to meet Manchester City on Tuesday in the cup and that should be a very tough game for Wenger’s team.
