Arsenal’s latest addition Olivier Giroud had declared that missing the most important chance at goal in the game against Sunderland won’t be on his mind for too long, because he is certain to become a top scorer for the Gunners.

Giroud’s chance could have won the game for Arsenal, and it caused people to remain sad over the loss of Robin Van Persie.

The fact is that, we have to admit, both Podolski and Giroud played a good game. Their presence in the box, especially Giroud’s, were major for the Gunners and there’s no reason not to believe that the both of them will become top players for the club.

Arsenal’s problems are far from being over, as French manager Arsene Wenger has admitted the fact that winger Theo Walcott has yet to extend his deal with the Gunners.

Walcott’s contract will run out next season, and according to the Frenchman the two sides have been unable to reach an agreement yet.  After speaking about Robin Van Persie’s leave, Wenger turned his attention to Walcott, saying:

‘We are still trying to extend his deal.’

‘When a player doesn’t want to stay you either force him or you let him go.’

Bendtner Confirms Desire to leave Arsenal

Arsenal’s outgoings might not end with Robin Van Persie’s departure to Manchester United and Alex Song’s transfer to Barcelona, as Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner still seems interested in the possibility of leaving the club, saying that it’s the only thing that would make him happy at the moment.

With enormous competition at Arsenal for the striker roles, it’s fair to say that Bendtner has very little chance of playing even a game next season for the Gunners If he doesn’t manage to catch a gravy train out of the Emirates Stadium in this final stretch of this transfer window, then he will be warming the bench again.

Arsene Wenger Expresses Sadness Over RVP Exit

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the fact that, unfortunately, captain Robin Van Persie will leave for Manchester United. The Frenchman has admitted that he was forced into selling Robin and that there wasn’t much he could do, despite the fact that he wanted to keep the Dutchman.

According to Wenger, the striker’s position will be filled by Giroud and Podolski’s arrivals, the club having previously stated that the French striker had been brought in to boost the attacking options.

“He is at Manchester United, unfortunately for us. The transfer was finalised in the afternoon,” said Wenger whilst working for French TV station TF1 on Wednesday.

Athletic Bilbao’s president Josu Urrutia has admitted that he can’t keep his top star Fernando Llorente at the club against his own will, but has declared that the Arsenal target will only leave if the buyout clause is met by a club.

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger will probably be looking to put the money the Gunners will get for Robin Van Persie to work fast, and the buyout clause of £28million could be met by Arsenal if they add just a little to the fee they will get from the sale of the Dutch turncoat to Manchester United.

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been watching PSG’s center-back Mamadou Sakho for the better part of last season and many expected the switch to occur, especially given the fact that Mertesacker still seems to have problems getting used to the speed of the Premier League.

Sakho has dismissed the possibility of making the switch, and claimed that his only focus in winning the French Ligue 1 title with PSG. The new additions of Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi and Thiago Silva are sure to be enough for PSG to win the title, and Sakho wants to be a part of that.

Will Robin Listen And Stay?

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger is getting unexpected support from Dutch defender Ron Vlaar, who is pushing Robin Van Persie to stay with the Gunners amidst rumours linking him to a possible leave to Italian side Juventus Torino.

After just signing with Aston Villa, Vlaar is now vehement in saying that Robin should stay in England, but admits that he has no certain information which can point to a possible stay.

“I talked to Robin and several other players during the Euros,” said Vlaar.

Arsene Wenger might be in danger of losing another top player from his team. On the verge of losing Robin Van Persie, the Frenchman might also lose Alex Song as Spanish club Barcelona seem to be ready to make a move.

Barcelona have been watching the talented defensive midfielder for the whole length of the season and are rumoured to be ready to go in with a bid.

Catalan star Busquets claimed that he’s not afraid of competition and that he’s hoping the Arsenal man will join.

Brescia’s midfielder Omar El Kaddouri believed to be one of Arsene Wenger’s possible summer targets has admitted the fact that even though he’s happy in Italy, the Premiership has always been appealing to him and that he’s flattered to be linked with a club such as Arsenal.

‘I do not know if they are interested in me, but it is flattering.

‘I am settled in Italy to be honest, but Premier League football is appealing to any player.’

Arsenal’s Newboys Are Not Ready Yet!

Asenal’s newest transfers, Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud will miss the season start as French manager Arsene Wenger claims that they are not ready for action yet.

The Frenchman declared that they can’t be used in pre-season because they came back to training late, having to take some time off after the Euros, so he will have to ease them in and help them get adapted to the Premiership style.

“Podolski and Giroud may take longer than expected,” Wenger said in the Daily Mail before returning from a pre-season tour in Hong Kong.
