Arsenal’s star Robin Van Persie ha caught the attention of Champions League rivals AC Milan after the home leg, and when the Italians will come to town to face the Gunners next week Wenger will have to protect both the player and the goal if he wants to have a chance at going through to the next round.

Milan’s star defender found out about the club’s interest in the Dutch striker and offered his opinion on the subject saying that Robin is more than welcomed to join Milan at any time.

As the times get tougher and tougher at Arsenal, more and more players are linked with the club but the bad thing about it is that we can’t tell anymore what Wenger’s thinking and we can’t even say if he’s going to make a change or not.

The reality is that Arsenal are in big need of some new faces, and even though the midfield is the compartment which suffers the most, according to recent rumours Eden Hazard is much closer to joining Tottenham than Arsenal despite Wenger’s long term interest in him.

According to German newspapers Liverpool’s manager Kenny Dalglish wants to compete with rival Arsene Wenger for yet another European starlet as the Kop’s take an interest in long term Arsenal target Raffael.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder has impressed while playing for Herta Berlin in the Bundesliga, and ever since the summer Arsenal have been watching him. Wenger is looking for a player worthy of replacing Samir Nasri or Cesk Fabregas, but according to rumours around the grounds he’s not ready to offer the money Lille are requesting for the services of Eden Hazard.

Arsenal’s former attacking midfielder Samir Nasri seems to cheer for his former manager Arsene Wenger even if the Gunner fans have attacked him last time he was on the Emirates Stadium with City.

The lad seems to think that Wenger has all the right things to make it and that the manager’s philosophy is a very good one despite not having won any trophies in the last years and despite having a horrible run this season.

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger might miss on one of their most prized targets if he won’t make a move as soon as possible. Montpellier’s striker Olivier Giroud has become a top target for many European clubs and Bayern Munich and Napoli just declared their interest in the 25-year-old.

“We are looking for a forward and we have several names on our list. Giroud is one of them,” Bayern scout Bjorn Andersson said

“Giroud? He is an exciting player that we are following,” said Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bignon.

“At the moment we have a lot of good forwards, but we are always looking towards the future.

It seems that Arsenal’s board are not looking to change things at the club despite the recent turn of events and the horrible losses that the Gunners registered in the last few days.

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger might get beaten to his target by Tottenham’s Redknapp as Brazilian wonder striker Leandro Damiao declared that the only offer he received is from the Spurs and that he isn’t aware of any other offers.

According to the player Arsenal’s interest was not made official with an offer, and he’s going to make a decision in the summer so he’s unlikely to join the Gunners.

“I am not aware of anything” he said

“For now, I think about my club and the Copa Libertadores. In July, if a proposal comes, it will be discussed.

Arsenal’s search for a top striker continues as the Gunners turn their heads to the American continent where one of the best strikers around is highly wanted by a host of European clubs.

Tottenham were the first to identify him and claim they’re interested in the deal, before Brazilian starlet Leandro Damiao became one of the most wanted strikers in the world with Juventus, PSG, Liverpool and Arsenal on his tail.

Damiao’s agent declared that the player didn’t want to leave the club in January but the situation will be different in the summer when the player might agree to leave.
