Arsenal to seal last gasp transfer with STUNNING striker signing?

As per usual the Arsenal manager has been saying both before and during the current transfer window that he was open to the signing of top players if only he could find them, but try as he might he just could not identify any available players that would improve the squad.

Maybe he has been right as well, but now that the Metro is reporting that Arsenal are one of a number of clubs to have been offered the PSG and Uruguay centre forward Edinson Cavani, that could well have changed.

Arsenal fans’ transfer fury as Wenger leaves £200m in the bank!?!

So there were no players available in the summer transfer window that would improve Arsenal? Is that what you are telling us Arsene Wenger? I wonder just how hard he really tried because with the amount of money that the Gunners have salted away I would think we would be able to sign just about anyone if we really wanted.

The Arsenal website has published the club’s financial report from the 2014-15 financial year and they make interesting reading. As well as a rise in profit and turnover, Arsenal added about £20 million to the cash reserves and that means there is nearly £200 million in the bank and that is separate to the money that is kept by as security on our debt.

Benzema OFF! But Arsenal still in for TWO top strikers

The news that Arsenal will definitely not be completing the transfer of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid is definitely bad news for us. Despite all the recent positive Arsenal transfer rumours about him though, it is not really a big surprise.

And the good news is that Benzema has totally ruled out the move with a week still left of the summer transfer window and that means that Arsene Wenger still has enough time to bring another top class striker into the Arsenal squad.

Arsenal set for STUNNING double transfer swoop on PSG?

Even if the latest Arsenal transfer rumours are true, it does not mean that the Gunners will be successful. But this would be a fantastic double signing from the French champions Paris Saint-Germain if Arsene Wenger could get the deal done.

According to a Metro report, the two PSG players that the Arsenal boss wants and will try to sign before the transfer window closes, is their centre forward Edinson Cavani and their central midfielder Adrien Rabiot. That would hopefully solve the main two problems in the Arsenal squad and give us all a huge boost as the Premier League season heats up.

Arsene Wenger not interested in talking about Arsenal rumours

With the transfer window coming up rapidly there will be hundreds of Arsenal transfer rumours appearing more or less every day in January, but Arsene Wenger personally has no interest in listening or talking about them.

There has already been numerous talk of the unhappy Lukas Podolski looking to move away to gain regular first team football, but Wenger said yesterday that he will simply be ignoring anything in the press.

He said: “I don’t give any importance to rumours. There was a rumour two days ago in France that I offered £62 million for Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain. Everyday there is a different rumour so I don’t give importance to that.

Liverpool not good enough for Suarez says Arsenal target’s friend

If reports from the media are to be believed, Arsenal have received a further boost in their pursuit of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez as the striker has reportedly told his Uruguay team mate Edinson Cavani that he is not very impressed by Liverpool’s new signings and that the Merseyside club still cannot compete for Champions League football.

Just last week, another Uruguay team-mate of the Liverpool ace decided to speak his mind about the on-going saga surrounding his compatriot. Former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan claimed that Luis Suarez could fire Arsenal to the title and seemed to be urging the Gunners into making another move for him. With Forlan having done his job, it seems as though it is now Cavani’s turn. Speaking to the media, the PSG striker said:

Arsenal get boost from Suarez himself in transfer tussle

We know now that Luis Suarez is at least interested in moving to Arsenal. I won’t go into the whole situation as I’m sure everybody will know by now. Here’s a quick line to explain : Arsenal have now upped the offer to £40 million and £1 to talk to Suarez but the bid was once again rejected.

Suarez has begun talking to Arsenal to agree personal terms, which is good because now we know that he really is interested in a move to our club. I am still quite surprised that Arsenal have even made bid over £40M. It’s like Christmas has come early and I now have faith that this spending will continue.

Arsenal abandon Higuain transfer after Real Madrid demand £37m

The latest development in the Gonzalo Higuain saga is Real Madrid are apparently demanding £37M for him now after weeks of messing around in the negotiations that should have been sorted and sealed when a £23M deal was agreed. If Real Madrid are going to continue to string Arsenal along then I honestly think it’s time to give up and look elsewhere, or just focus on signing Luis Suarez and spend the rest of the money on the rest of the team.
