BANG! Arsenal set to lose Walcott to Serie A club?

With Theo Walcott finally back in the Arsenal squad after 10 long months without him due to the anterior cruciate ligament damage he suffered during the FA cup win over north London rivals Tottenham in January, Arsenal fans were looking forward to seeing the speedy forward flying down the wing again and scoring the goals that had made him the club’s top goal scorer the previous season.

But that might not be about to happen, according to a Daily Express report. The paper claims that the England international could instead be set for a surprise switch to Serie A with the Italian club Fiorentina.

These TWO Colombian stars could soon be Arsenal players

It appears that the Arsenal boss has been using his time in Brazil wisely. Arsene Wenger will be heading back to London after finishing his summer job commentating on the World Cup for a French TV station and it looks like two of the Colombian international side could soon be joining him.

The performances of Colombia were some of the highlights of the tournament, so their players have attracted a great deal of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs. Many think that James Rodriguez should have been given the Golden Ball award as well as the Golden Boot for scoring the most goals, but FIFA gave it to Lionel Messi instead.

Why Arteta snubbed Serie A transfer to stay at Arsenal

He is the vice-captain of Arsenal and has been one of the most consistent performers for the club since joining the Gunners from Everton three years ago, but Mikel Arteta has been getting a lot of stick from the Arsenal fans recently, many of them hoping he would be sold this summer.

The Spaniard, who has adapted his game to provide the central midfield option that Arsene Wenger wanted from him, has played 134 games for us in his three seasons, scoring 15 goals along the way and providing the team with it’s heartbeat and passing fluency from the centre of the pitch, but some of us were ready to show him the door as Arsenal transfer rumours suggest that Wenger is going to add a more standard type of defensive midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal scouting Serie A right back is bad news for Jenkinson

If media reports are to be believed, Arsenal might well be on the verge of a move for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, who has attracted attention from all over Europe following impressive displays for the Italian side so far this season. Cuadrado also plays at right back and his arrival could spell big trouble for young Jenkinson, although last night’s performance suggests that we do need to sign somebody.

Are Arsenal fans upset about losing out on Jovetic? I’m not!

Prior to the season ending and just after it, the media was reporting news about Stefan Jovetic as if his transfer to Arsenal was in advanced negotiations and impending completion. However it wasn’t to be and a few weeks further on and we hardly hear his name mentioned in the media anymore. The latest reported yesterday was that Arsenal were refusing to meet his wage demands….

Higuain or Jovetic? Make your mind up Arsenal

These two Arsenal transfer sagas seem to be everlasting, with the rumours beginning long before the end of the season, which suggests to me there is a lot of truth in the speculation. It seems Arsenal and Juventus are in the race, in which the likely scenarios are both clubs come away with one player each, or Juventus takes them both, because I can’t see Arsenal signing both Jovetic and Higuain. Well in fact I can’t see us signing either, nor Rooney for that matter, but let’s not get into that and instead look at who I think would be better for Arsenal.

Jovetic agrees to join Arsenal!

Stevan Jovetic is a player we all know well and has reportedly been a long term transfer target for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal for a number of seasons now. He is a Montenegrin international striker and has been at Seria A side Fiorentina for a number of years. Over recent years Jovetic has stated his wish to remain in Italy, however in recent weeks he has become more open on the transfer speculation surrounding his future.

Have Arsenal found a cheaper version of Hazard, Moura or Gotze?

Wenger Eyes Young Serbian Attacking Midfielder
Arsenal are reportedly eyeing another very talented young footballer, as MirrorFootball states that they have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old Serbian youngster Adem Ljajic.

The talented Serbian international was very close to a move to Manchester United two seasons ago but he eventually joined Fiorentina. He did so because he couldn’t get a work permit in the UK, so he chose to go to the Italian team where he became a first team player almost instantly. The attacking midfielder managed to appear in 52 games and scored 4 goals for the Florence side.

Chamakh to be next to follow Arshavin away from Arsenal?

Arsenal’s spring cleaning continues and after Arsene Wenger decided to let Russian winger Andrey Arshavin return to Zenit, the Gunners are now ready to do the same in the case of Marouane Chamakh.

The Morroccan international striker joined Arsenal in 2010 but even though he was one of the hottest prospects in the French League 1 at the time he fell way short of expectations after he picked up an injury (or lack of confidence?) which kept him away from action for a long time.
