Arsene Wenger congratulates ‘record-breaker’ Van Persie 2

Robin Van Persie cheekily dinked his penalty over Wayne Hennessey in Arsenal’s win over Wolves last night, and in doing so he equalled Ian Wright’s record of scoring against 17 Premiership teams in a season (out of 20).
Arsene Wenger couldn’t help but congratulate his amazing captain but rued the fact that he couldn’t beat the record by scoring against Man City last weekend.
Van Persie had gone an unlikely four games in a row without scoring, and Wenger was pleased that the Dutchman didn’t let his goal drought (!!) worry him.
