Podolski to Dortmund? only if Lewandowski comes to Arsenal 7

Posted on June 02, 2013 by admin

It’s almost become an expectation for Arsenal to lose our star player of the last season in the transfer period. It’s happened for the last few years with Fabregas, Nasri and Van Persie, and then even before that in Henry, Vieira and Hleb. This season it looked to be different, however interest is reportedly growing in our German International striker Lukas Podolski.

Jovetic not interested in Arsenal – never mind Rooney! 24

Arsenal have lost their best players season after season, the only thing I can think right now is who will go this summer? With players leaving every season like Van Persie and Fabregas I have realised that we simply cannot compete for the biggest players anymore.

The latest player Arsenal have been linked with is Stevan Jovetic who now seems to be on his way to Juventus after apparently agreeing terms with Arsenal which proves my point. Jovetic isn’t even one of Europe’s biggest stars but he is one for the future. The fact that Jovetic was ready to come to Arsenal but changed his mind as soon as Juventus showed interest just shows that we can’t compete with a club like Juventus. If we can’t compete with Juventus then how will we compete with clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Bendtner Holding Talks – Could he be aiming for a great Arsenal swap deal? 14

Posted on June 07, 2012 by admin

One of Arsenal’s biggest recent flops, Nicklas Bendtner is ready to leave the London club soon, and according to himself he just hired another agent to help him in dealing with the offers he’s receiving.

The Danish striker has hired the services of FIFA-licensed agent Tom Brookes, who will be working alongside his father to deal with incoming offers.

“I know Tom from England, and now he and my father are taking care of the interested clubs.” Bendtner said.

Arsenal striker swap deal with Dortmund on the cards? 13

Arsenal’s swap deal with Borussia Dortmund seems to be on the cards, but a possible move will only occur after this summer’s EURO 2012.

The Gunners are looking to offload striker Nicklas Bendtner, and have been linked with many of Dortmunds players including Gotze, Kagawa, Kevin Grosskreutz and Lewandowski. The first one has been long linked with the Gunners, and Wenger has publically stated his interest in him, but a long contract with Dortmund will probably stop him from leaving.

Arsenal have no chance of signing Lewandowski – at any price! 5

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s bubble just got burst as it seems that the Gunners will miss on one of their most important transfer targets, as German manager Jurgen Klopp dismissed a potential move away from Borussia Dortmund by club striker Robert Lewandowski.

The 23-year-old striker has admitted being very interested in the possibility of taking on a new challenge after winning the event with Dortmund this season, leaving Bayern Munich behind in the fight for the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal.

“We will not sell Robert Lewandowski – not for any price,” Klopp told German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.

Wenger Adds Another Talented Striker To The Shortlist 3

The Arsenal manager’s chase for a top striker continues, and even though he supposedly managed to transfer German striker Lukas Podolski, he’s looking for somebody he could use in the centre in front of goal rather than on the wings.

So far Montpellier’s Olivier Giroud seems the most likely target, with the French striker a clear favorite of Wenger’s. He’s this season’s top scorer in France, and he also impressed at the national team level so he would surely be able to help Arsenal in their trophy chase even though he’s unlikely to reach Henry’s potential.
