Arsenal set to give Alex Song massive pay rise 9

According to the Daily Mail, the Arsenal midfielder Alex Song is set to be offered a new and improved long-term contract in the coming weeks.
The Cameroon midfielder’s current deal is said to be worth around £55,000-a-week, but if sources from the Mail are to be believed, Song could well be in line for a significant pay hike which will see him earn £75,000-a-week, making him one of Arsenal’s highest paid players.
The 24-year-old has been in inspired form this season and has been instrumental in the Gunners’ renaissance which now sees them occupy third spot in the league table, three points clear of the Spuds.
