BOOM – Chelsea rocked and Arsenal BIG favourites to win!

After that shocking and below par display from Arsenal in the Champions League, despote all the changes to the starting line up, Arsene Wenger and the players need to get back into the swing and give us Arsenal fans something to cheer about.

Normally a trip to Chelsea would be the last thing you wanted in that situation but right now it could be just what the Gunners need. It was unfortunate that Chelsea got a good and easy win at home to the hapless Maccabi Tel Aviv this week but that only papers over the cracks and a Premier League clash with a major rival is a whole other matter.

Arsenal handed BIG boost on La Liga striker transfer

This striker and Arsenal transfer target has just dropped a big hint that he could be ready to leave his current club during the summer transfer window, despite having spent his whole career in La Liga with Barcelona and having a trophy haul that any player in the world would be proud of.

The problem for Pedro Rodriguez is not that he does not love his club or even that Barcelona want to sell him. But at 27-years old, the pacy forward knows that he does not have too many years left at the prime of his footballing life.

YES! Arsenal in transfer talks with World Cup winning striker!

It looks like Arsene Wenger might just agree with his former Arsenal protege and star striker Thierry Henry after all. The former France international ruffled a few feathers, including those of our current centre forward Olivier Giroud, when he suggested in his role as a TV pundit that the Gunners could not win the Premier League with the forward line we have.

Wenger disagreed at the time but according to a Metro report, he is now looking to sign another striker in the summer transfer window. According to the report, the player is Pedro Rodriguez who has won almost everything going for his club Barcelona and on the international stage with Spain.

Arsenal set to re-unite Alexis with former strike partner?

It must have been a bit of an eye opener for the Barcelona and Spain international star Pedro Rodriguez as he watched his former team mate Alexis Sanchez explode into his career with new club Arsenal and take the Premier League by storm.

And with his current Barca contract due to expire at the end of next season, the speedy striker apparently fancies getting in on the action. According to a Metro, Pedro is keen on following the Chilean international to England and so will not be renewing his contract.

Alexis success convinces Barca star to seek £26m Arsenal transfer

The way that Alexis Sanchez has not just settled into life as an Arsenal player, but blown everyone away, Gunners and the football watching public alike, has been pretty incredible. And it has not gone unnoticed on the continent either, especially in Spain’s La Liga where the 25-year old forward used to ply his trade.

Only this week there was an article in one of the Catalan newspapers berating FC Barcelona for their decision to let the Chilean live wire leave for London in the summer. They compared Alexis to three of the current Barca front line, Munir El Haddadi and Sanro Ramirez and Pedro, declaring that Barca had been daft to allow the Chilean to leave as he has scored almost three times as many goals this season as all three of those Barca forwards.

Arsenal to lose TWO transfer targets to EPL rivals?

With results and performances starting to get better for Arsenal, the manager’s claim the other day that the Gunners should not be written out of the race for the English Premier League title just yet is not looking quite as blindly optimistic as before.

And with the Champions League and FA cup trophies to play for as well, Arsenal fans will still be hoping for another piece of silverware to celebrate at the end of the season. But Arsene Wenger will also know that a key signing or two in the January transfer window will go a long way to helping to achieve that goal.

Arsenal planning transfer raid on Barcelona?

Normally when it comes to a transfer window the expectations of Barcelona being interested in one of Arsenal’s players is pretty much certain. They are like the Spanish Man City, who at one point seemed to be filling their team around players that they had bought from North London. But now the tables have turned and this summer, there seems to be a lot of interest coming from Arsene Wenger’s side when it comes down to transfers between the two clubs.
