Arsenal narrow Wenger replacement shortlist down to just TWO

If you believed everything that you read about Arsenal in the football media then we would have about a thousand players right now, including the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, so it is always worth taking a large pinch of sale with any Arsenal transfer rumours you read.

On the other hand, there is often some kernel of truth to the reports you see and with all the pressure on Arsene Wenger from the disgruntled Arsenal fans at the moment, it would not surprise me if behind the scenes the top brass at Arsenal have been thinking about who could replace our long serving manager.

Arsenal star Sanchez ready to inflict DOUBLE pain on Man City

After a recent upturn in form and results and with the Arsenal injury list getting back to a normal sort of size, Arsene Wenger and the players will be heading north to face Man City tomorrow with a restores sense of self-belief and a good chance of beating the Premier League champions Man City on their own turf.

And one of the major reasons for that confidence is the excellent form of our summer signing from Barcelona, the one and only Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has settled into his career at Arsenal and into the rigours of the Premier League like a duck to water and even with stars like Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott back in the team, Alexis stands head and shoulders above his team mates.

Is Benitez right that Arsenal have best boss in Premier League?

Arsenal are not used to hearing all this praise about them in the media as of late and it’s usually at this point in the season where the media is scrutinising the Gunners about being out of the title race already, with just 6 games gone! However this year it’s very different and we are expecting a lot of the team this year following on from our great start to the season.

Wenger pinning Arsenal title hopes on manager changes elsewhere

Instead of making himself useful on the transfer front by outlining some players and getting the job done, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has once again decided to talk to the media about Arsenal’s league chances for the upcoming season.

Before we indulge into the quotes from Le Prof, can we all be serious for a second and ask ourselves if we genuinely think Wenger is being completely serious when he says we can be challengers for the league? Because to me it’s as if he hasn’t noticed that our rivals have strengthened, whilst we have failed to add to a team that was PROMISED to have a new look come the kick-off of the season. It just doesn’t all add up to me, but as baffled as we all are, Wenger is sure to make you consider your support of him even more with his latest quotes.

Spanish star adds to Arsenal ambitions and confidence

Arsenal are gaining a real confidence boost this summer, with so many players coming out and stating the club’s ambition and the players’ own respective desires for the team to achieve greater things next season. We have already seen the likes of Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey come out and state their desires to regain glory at Arsenal after experiencing so many years of trophy hurt.

We have also seen last year’s summer signings Olivier Giroud and now Santi Cazorla tell their tales of Arsenal’s ambitious wishes. We know Cazorla isn’t lacking of confidence on the pitch and by the sound of his words he is confident off it as well, with the Spanish magician firmly believing Arsenal can improve and achieve greater things next year.
