Bacary Sagna has been a great servant for Arsenal since he joined the club from Auxerre back in 2007. He is the only current member of the Arsenal squad, apart from the players we want to leave, who is about to enter the last year of his contract and it appears that there is a good chance he will leave the club this summer.
Although the French right back has denied any specific contact from the new French champions Paris Saint-Germain, that seems to be his most likely destination. The 30-year old has been offered a new contract by the Gunners and he claims that he might still stay, but he will weigh up his options at the end of the season. ...........Read more

The latest right back to be linked with Arsenal is Borussia Dortmund’s Lukasz Piszczek. Arsenal have been looking for a right back recently because of the likelihood of Bacary Sagna leaving the club.
Sagna has been concerning the manager Arsene Wenger with his lack of match fitness and poor performances. Sagna himself seems keen on a move to French giants PSG. It is unclear whether PSG will make a move for the Frenchman or not and it is also unclear if Wenger will allow him to leave the club. Sagna would definitely be interested in a move to PSG to live close to his hometown and pocket a larger wage for the remaining years of his career. ...........Read more

Arsenal’s spring cleaning continues and after Arsene Wenger decided to let Russian winger Andrey Arshavin return to Zenit, the Gunners are now ready to do the same in the case of Marouane Chamakh.
The Morroccan international striker joined Arsenal in 2010 but even though he was one of the hottest prospects in the French League 1 at the time he fell way short of expectations after he picked up an injury (or lack of confidence?) which kept him away from action for a long time. ...........Read more

Lille’s star player Eden Hazard is ready to move away from his club, but even though it was thought his destination would be abroad, perhaps in the Premiership, the attacking midfielder confirms interest in League 1 side PSG.
Arsenal are favorites to snatch the attacking midfielder even though rivals Chelsea are also highly interested in the Belgian.
“Of course, PSG is a great club, and a personality like Ancelotti, he makes you want to play there”, said Hazard
“We will see about it later”, he added. ...........Read more

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has attacked the clubs who choose to have a transfer policy which destroy football for all the other clubs according to the Frenchman. Clubs like City, Real Madrid or PSG transfer anything they set their eyes on and this seems unfair for Wenger.
“The financial difference between us and teams like City has become too big for us to keep the players for eight, nine, 10 years,” Wenger told The Sun.
“We lost Thierry Henry we lost Patrick Vieira. We lost other players before but they had played here for eight, nine years. ...........Read more

French side PSG is close to agreeing a transfer move with Chelsea’s striker Salomon Kalou, but Arsenal may ambush the move in order to steal Kalou from under PSG’s noses.
Kalou has so far refused to sign a new contract offered by the Blues, and the ex-Chelsea star Claude Makele was reported by L’Equipe as being in London to talk to Kalou earlier this week with a view persuading him to choose a move to Paris, but with Wenger being a long-time admirer of the Ivorian, he will be hoping to hijack the deal and persuade Kalou to stay in London as back up to Robin Van Persie. ...........Read more
