Why Arsenal should worry after Wigan cup win 5

Posted on May 12, 2013 by admin

The current football season has been excruciating at times for Arsenal fans and it is showing no signs of getting easier. Despite the excellent run of form recently, with six wins from the last eight Premier League games, the Gunners still have the threat of finishing outside the top four looming large.

With ten man Chelsea coming from behind to win yesterday at Aston Villa, it is now down to Tottenham and Arsenal to fight it out over the remaining Champions League place. There is plenty to worry about for Arsenal fans, as a Spurs win at Stoke City today will leave us needing to beat Wigan at the Emirates on Tuesday and they will be flying high after their shock victory over Manchester City yesterday.

Who will replace Arteta and Walcott against Stoke? 4

Posted on April 24, 2012 by admin

Poor Arsene Wenger. Three games to go in the Barclays Premier League, and down two of his top players.

Both Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta are out of the remaining fixtures due to injuries.

Walcott suffered a hamstring injury in the recent match against Chelsea, meaning he will be out of action for about three weeks.

Arteta suffered an ankle injury in during the encounter against Wigan, putting him out for the remainder of the season also.

So its decision time, who should go on the pitch against Stoke in their place.
