Wojciech Szczesny is in confident form after seeing Arsenal have a fantastic treble of wins against Tottenham, Liverpool and AC Milan, who are all quality sides, and he now believes that the Gunners can now go on and easily qualify for the Champions League.
Szczesny said on Arsenal.com: “I think we have sent a message to all the other teams that when we play at our best we can beat anyone in Europe,”
“I think teams will struggle against us if we keep playing like that. Hopefully next season in the Champions League we can achieve a little bit more than we did this time. ...........Read more

The Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was instrumental in the Gunners taking all three points off Liverpool on Sunday, and he thinks that the team now have proved they are a “special” team and deserve to keep hold of Fourth place this season.
The win has virtually put Liverpool out of the race, and Szczesny now thinks that Arsenal only have Chelsea and Newcastle to worry about now.
“It is tough,” he said. “I can’t imagine Arsenal dropping 10 points before the end of the season. The way we have played in the last few weeks has shown there is something special about the team. ...........Read more

Although Robin Van Persie deservedly won the Man-of-the-Match award for his two goals yesterday in Arsenal’s brilliant comeback win at Liverpool, the Dutchman thought that Wojciech Szczesny deserved the Champagne Award and handed it to him instead.
Even Arsene Wenger agreed after the game that there was nothing to choose between them. Wenger said: “We had two men of the match today, one at the back and one at the front.”
And Szczesny himself confirmed that Van Persie gave him the award. He said: “Sometimes you make a lot of saves and you end up losing the game so none of your saves matter but today I managed to help my teammates.” ...........Read more

The Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny did a fantastic double save from Dirk Kuyt in the first half yesterday which helped to keep the Reds at bay in a game they mostly dominated, and he was happy to admit that it was probably not a fair result on Liverpool.
He said after the match: “It’s a massive win,”
“It’s a little bit harsh on Liverpool because they played really well for 90 minutes but there were games this season when we deserved to win and lost.” ...........Read more

The young Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is not short on confidence, in fact the size of his ego could probably rival even Nicolas Bendtner’s! But Arsene Wenger has advised the Polish international that he needs to keep his feet on the ground and keep his focus.
The last time Szczesny faced Man Utd he conceded a massive eight goals and although Wenger doesn’t believe he was at fault for any of them, he dosn’t think that it would affect his confidence even if he was. ...........Read more

All Arsenal fans will be praying that nothing untoward happens to Wojciech Szczesny in the next couple of weeks, as Arsene Wenger has confirmed that both Lukasz Fabianski and the hapless Vito Mannone were both injured in Greece in midweek.
Wenger was discussing the problems to come out of the Champions League defeat, and also confirmed that Arsenal are waiting for specialist tests on Andre Santos’ ankle.
He said: “Santos has an ankle injury so he is out. He will see a specialist in the coming days. Mannone and Fabianski are both out. Mannone has a shoulder problem, he saw a specialist on Thursday night. Fabianski has a nasty cut on his knee. ...........Read more

The Gunners goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny feels the Arsenal team are supremely confident right now and are aiming to win every game, and thinks that a top four finish is the least that they expect this season.
He said: “We just want to win every single game from now on. We’re very confident going into every game and we feel we have what it takes to get the three points.
“Hopefully we will climb up the table and just do our best. Realistically we are aiming for the top four but if we manage to do that then we are just going to do our best to finish as high as we can. ...........Read more

Arsenal’s goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny doesn’t think that they are a one man team who is always relying on Robin Van Persie to do the job for them, even though he acknowledges that he is one of the world’s best strikers and that he always manages to get the job done.
“I don’t think we are over-reliant on him,” said the Polish goalkeeper.
“We’ve got some fantastic players in this team and we work as a team. The whole team stuck together when we went 1-0 down against Fulham, we stuck together well. ...........Read more
