Arsene Wenger has apparently registered an interest with Chelsea FC over the possible loan of Fernando Torres, with the Frenchman hoping to bolster his attacking options before the transfer window shuts tomorrow.
Arsenal currently have Olivier Giroud in great goalscoring form, and Wenger is hoping to keep his star-striker motivated by upping the competition for a the central striker role. Having lost Lukas Podolski to injury, the North-London club are left with Theo Walcott or Yaya Sanogo as their only viable alternatives. Sanogo has only just arrived and is very much still learning his trade, whereas Theo is widely encouraged to play out wide by Wenger. ...........Read more
We know now that Luis Suarez is at least interested in moving to Arsenal. I won’t go into the whole situation as I’m sure everybody will know by now. Here’s a quick line to explain : Arsenal have now upped the offer to £40 million and £1 to talk to Suarez but the bid was once again rejected.
Suarez has begun talking to Arsenal to agree personal terms, which is good because now we know that he really is interested in a move to our club. I am still quite surprised that Arsenal have even made bid over £40M. It’s like Christmas has come early and I now have faith that this spending will continue. ...........Read more

“When you think about them, they had Florent Malouda, Essien, Lampard, physically, contact-wise they were a very impressive side with Drogba on top of that,” he said. ...........Read more
The Israeli midfielder Yossi Benayoun may or may not be still playing for Arsenal next season, but he is adamant that the Gunners have to hold on to their captain for next season.
Benayoun has played with many of the best strikers in the world in his time at Liverpool and Chelsea and believes that Robin Van Persie must be rated up there with the best of them.
“I was lucky to play with some of the great strikers in my career and Robin at the moment is one of the best in the world,” Benayoun said. ...........Read more
