Bergkamp wants to come and make Arsenal even better!

There has always been a lingering wonder if one day Arsenal will see their wonder team of the glory days and invincible age return once again to the club as the team’s managerial staff. It would be a fantastic sight seeing the likes of Tony Adams, Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp all in positions at the club, but will it ever become a reality?

For Adams and Vieira, they are already in management positions, just not at Arsenal; whilst Thierry Henry of course still plays professional football in the USA. Bergkamp on the other hand does have a hand in football management, as he is a coach at Dutch club Ajax, the club where he first began his fantastic career.

Gustavo transfer to Arsenal is NOT done but Wenger hints it’s close

Arsenal target Luis Gustavo, who currently plays for Bundesliga and Champion’s League winners Bayern Munich is reportedly being allowed to leave the club should a reasonable offer come in for the Brazilian midfielder. The main interest in the player so far came from German side Wolfsburg, however it’s understood that the player turned down Wolfsburg in favour of a move to the Premier League with both Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly interested in him.

Arsenal and the Captaincy Conundrum

We are all aware that Arsenal’s current captain is Thomas Vermaelen and although at the beginning of last season you would have thought he could be the next Tony Adams; dominating, controlling and being both physically and mentally strong in making his presence known, it seemed as if the captaincy was just right for him, but a year later and it’s surprising to see how it seems that was wrong.

Diaby limps into last chance saloon for Arsenal (with Picture)

diaby off crutches
I know that plenty of Arsenal fans will be thinking that Abou Diaby has been given more than his fair share of chances by Arsene Wenger, but it must be at least as frustrating for the French midfielder as it is for us Gooners. But he is on the road to recovery again and has tweeted this picture of himself without his crutches, as his rehabilitation is progressing well and moving forward.

Arsenal face a tough task over transfer of Pogba

After two previous attempts by Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager is hoping to make it third time lucky in his efforts to capture the young French midfielder Paul Pogba. Wenger has been alerted to the chance of signing the 20-year old after reports that he is unhappy at Juventus.

Pogba has impressed since moving to the Italian champions on a free transfer last summer from Manchester United. Ferguson was not happy about losing the talented player, although United were themselves accused of dirty dealing when they poached him from the French club Le Havre in 2009. Arsenal wanted him back then and it’s a real shame that United got him because he never got much of a chance and that is why he let his contract run out and joined Juventus.

Can Arsenal win a bidding war for Eden Hazard?

The fight for Eden Hazard’s signature goes on in England, as English giants Man United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City are all tracking the attacking midfielder.

It seems that the transfer fee to beat is £30m, and that both City and United are looking to give their all to sign the Belgian international despite him being linked with the Gunners for over two seasons and despite Arsene Wenger’s previous attempts to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
