Arsenal might be close to landing French midfielder Yann M’Vila, as Rennes’ general manager Pierre Dreossi has declared that Arsene Wenger needs to find a timely replacement for the loss of Cameroon midfielder Alex Song.
According to the Rennes official, the Ligue 1 club is currently negotiating with three clubs, and Arsenal might be the destination for M’Vila this summer, after almost two whole seasons of rumours linking the London club with a move for the French defensive midfielder.

Arsenal’s manager might be close to bringing in Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila, as French club Rennes’ general manager Pierre Dreossi has admitted that the two clubs are still in negotiations over the French international’s signature.
Believed to be over, the deal might still go through, and it seems that Arsene Wenger was once again a master of dissimulation, as he managed to bring M’Vila’s fee down by declaring a month back that Arsenal’s interest in the defensive midfielder has ended. We can now say that Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila is a Gunner after the defensive midfielder publically spoke about his interest to join Arsene Wenger’s squad.
We know that players usually don’t do such things until the deal is almost complete, but M’Vila spoke about Arsenal’s negotiations with his club Rennes, and declared that if the two clubs will agree upon a transfer fee, the deal will go through because he’s eager to play in the Premiership, and even more eager to play at Arsenal.

Arsenal’s top target Yann M’Vila snubbed the rumours which were saying that this is surely his last season with the French club Rennes, as the interest for him increases.
M’Vila was wanted by Arsenal ever since last summer but his transfer has yet to be accomplished because the French officials want to get more for him after he’ll play for his national team squad at the EURO 2012.

Italian giants Inter Milan are now closer than ever to make a move on French star Yann M’Vila, taking him away from the eyes of Premiership clubs.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Real Madrid have all been interested in the young defensive midfielder, but the Gunners were the closest to snatch him in the summer when Arsenal’s French manager Arsene Wenger submitted a fee for him.
