Arsenal about to SEAL DEAL for central midfield star

Arsenal have got more than enough problems to deal with and the injury problems to many of the current Arsenal squad are affecting the plans of Arsene Wenger in almost every area of the pitch. We are strong enough in goal and in the full back positions, even though Kieran Gibbs is currently sidelined with a knock.

In other areas such as the flanks and up front, though, the Gunners are looking dangerously thin on the ground and arguably the worst hit area of the team is central midfield. But that has not convinced the boss that he could do with bringing back our young American international star Gedion Zelalem.

It time for Arsenal’s youngsters to step up against Galatasary

As Arsenal have already qualified for the Champions League knockout rounds, Arsene Wenger is preparing for some of his promising youngsters to gain experience in the cauldron of a tie in Galatasary. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who himself has only recently become a regular in the Gunners first team, believes that players like Chuba Akpom, Alex Iwobi, Glen Kamara, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Stefan O’Connor and Gedion Zelalem will benefit from the experience and can step up if given the opportunity.

“All young players have to start somewhere and you have to be challenged at some point, so if they have the opportunity to play they have a chance to prove they are capable,” Oxlade-Chamberlain said on Arsenal.com.

Wenger to promote Arsenal youngsters to cover injury crisis?

Arsene Wenger has suggested in a press conference that he may choose to promote some more youth to the Arsenal first team squad, once the transfer window closes for the summer. Although he didn’t directly say anything about the Arsenal youth, he made it clear that he wanted to bring in quality rather than quantity. Every single year he seems to say this yet we are always left with it the other way round.
