Teams and preview – Arsenal can run riot against Liverpool back three!

JUst as Louis van Gaal did when taking on Arsenal a month or so ago, the Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has tried to fix his leaky defence and cope with a few injury problems by changing the formation of the team and going to three at the back.

But it has not exactly been a success so far, with three goals shipped against Man United this week and Bournemouth in midweek causing them all sorts of problems but finishing poorly. But despite that and the loss of Dejan Lovren to injury, Rodgers is sticking with the plan, bringing Sakho in to replace him.

Toure, Skrtel, Sakho
Henderson, Gerrard, Lucas, Markovic
Coutinho, Sterling, Lallana

Now I am trying bot to count our chickens, but with Cazorla behind our front line of Welbeck, Giroud and Alexis Sanchez, I think that the Gunners will have way too much for the Liverpool back three to cope with. The problem is, however, that our own defence is not the best, although having Chambers back from suspension helps and with Debuchy and Gibbs as the full backs, I think it is a lot better than theirs.
