I know that it is frustrating for Arsenal fans at the minute. While our Premier League rivals all spending money hand over fist, Arsene Wenger seems happy to relax in Brazil, being snapped having dinner and strolling on the beach, but next week should see that all change.

Although the partnership between Arsenal and the new kit suppliers PUMA began official at the start of the month, the real launch date is July 10th, next Thursday. There is no way that the Gunners will unveil the new strip without at least one new signing, but it is likely to be at least three new players.

The deals are probably already sewn up or in the final stages of being, so who can we expect to see joining the club? Well it seems as though the Newcastle and France right back, Mathieu Debuchy, has let the cat out of the bag over his move to north London.

One of the other two looks like being the Chile international Alexis Sanchez, who we are said to have agreed personal terms with, for around £130,000 a week. We may still be wrangling with Barcelona over the transfer fee but I think everything will be in place for Thursday.

The last player could be the defensive midfielder that we have needed for years, with Schneiderlin and Khedira looking favourites, but with Germany still involved in the World Cup, this is one transfer that may have to wait. My choice would be Loic Remy, the QPR striker whose release clause of around £8 million and his proven ability in the Premier League make his signing a no brainer.

Would Remy, Debuchy and Sanchez be enough to please the long suffering Arsenal fans?

  1. These 3 signings would be enough to make me very happy. I would have prefered Aurier to Debuchy, Sanchez is the perfect signing to bring out the best in Ozil and Remy is a no brainer. Just follow these 3 signings with Sami Khedira and I think we can challenge for the title.

    1. Also need a keeper and possibly a centre back or two depending on the futures of djourou and vermaelen

  2. yeah of course.we meed more signings like the likes of iker casillas and atleast one central back since vermalen is leaving
