You might not think much to one of the latest Arsenal transfer rumours that claims to have news from Italy that Arsene Wenger is looking at an audacious double transfer swoop on Serie A in January. The players involved are both attackers and most pundits and fans are expecting the arsenal boss to be looking at a defender and a central midfielder.

But Wenger has surprised us before, like signing Kim Kallstrom last January, and a Metro report claims that the French boss is planning to fund the signing of striker Mattia Destro from Roma and creative midfielder Marek Hamsik from Palermo with the sales of our German international Lukas Podolski and the young Costa Rican forward Joel Campbell.

Would this move make sense to you, Arsenal fans, and would Destro and Hamsik have any more luck than Campbell and Podolski in getting a game?
