Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger seems to despise the fact that club legend Thierry Henry will have to leave the club after a very successful second spell at the club.

The man who has a statue in front of the club doesn’t want to leave Arsenal for now according to the French manager, but he still has to go back in America to join his club New York Red Bulls.

“He would like to stay, but he wants to be loyal to New York.”, said Wenger.

“During his whole career he has had to be focused, score, and repeat it over and over again, without having time to stop and enjoy the moment, because he worked like a machine.

“But he told me, for the very first time, he really had fun.”

Arsene Wenger will have to find options to replace Henry, and the situation may become critical fast if in the summer Chamakh will leave and the Gunners will still be without a striker. The worst thing about this is that Wenger has to convince Robin to sign a new contract before the summer transfer window will open because if he won’t be able to do that than the striker will be in his final year at Arsenal and offers will be pouring in for the Dutchman.

  1. OMG we a tired f these Henry or injured playaz stories we nid new players look at the rubbish we a playing now against AC damn only backpasses we a gud at neva tested a keeper in first half .We have no engine ball winner director of traffic don’t even mention a creative midfielder oh then mentioning striker would be suicidal…

  2. We are on the ropes right now and our defence is in shambles. Generally we look weak and easily pushed off the ball. Our attack is just not getting behind the AC Millan’s defence. Is there a way forward? Bring on Henry and Chamberlain!

  3. This attacking formation will play in front of the opposition team all day long ….. until they lose the ball that is. Change something please.

  4. ARSENE ONCE AGAIN YOU SEND A ILL PREPARED TEAM OUT EMBARRASING TO SAY THE LEAST – NO PACE NO ZIP NO HOPE
WENGER YOU HAVE TAKEN US BACK TWENTY YEARS
IS THIS WHAT YOU MEANT BY PUTTING PRESSURE ON CHELSEA.
GO NOW YOUR TIME IS UP!!!!

  5. I love how our club is so well managed financially. We have a manager making 7 million quid p.a. plus all sort of bonuses and extra commentary work, a smug board with billionairs all cozy and warm, we’re now dumped out of the champions league for a very long time with no chance of winning anything for even longer.

  6. Henry this, henry that,…on and on and on! At this rate, Arsenal will never rebuild. What’s wrong with Wenger? Living in the past glory?
