The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger refuses to give up the chase for a Champions League qualification saying that even if the Gunners have a very small chance they have to believe in it and make the most of it.
Arsene Wenger’s players proved they have what it takes to make spectacular comebacks against Liverpool and Tottenham in the last two games, but we also have to admit that the defensive part of the team wasn’t as good as it should have been, and Milan will take advantage of those errors if they will occur again.
“I said I don’t live in a dream world – that means I know we have not created an easy situation, but when you are a top-level competitor, even if statistically we have a 5% chance, what is important is that we believe that we can be in this 5% chance,” Wenger said.
“That is what is at stake for us – to show that we have the quality to believe we can do it, even if it is only 5%.
“Let us make sure that we do not miss out chance because we did not believe in it.”
Arsenal never had such a tough mission in order to go into the second leg, but I don’t think that there’s any Gunner who gave up hope that they can make a miracle happen and turn the result around just like they did with the last two games. Do you think there’s a chance for that to happen?
