Will Arsenal wait for M’Vila?

5

The Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reached an agreement with German striker Lukas Podolski according to today’s papers, which also say that the Frenchman is now aiming for one of the best young French players.

The Rennes’ midfielder Yann M’Vila has been watched by Wenger for two whole seasons now, and despite the bid the manager sent Rennes’ way last summer, the 21-year-old has yet to make a move away from the French club.

Rennes fought to keep M’Vila at the club until this summer looking to cash in on the defensive midfielder who is highly likely to represent his country at the EURO 2012 championship, thus getting his market value higher, but at a present valuation of just 15m he is well within Wenger’s budget.

After last summers debacle when Arsenal made all their signings right at the end of the transfer window it is very doubtful that Wenger will leave it so late this time around, but can he come to an agreement with Rennes before the Euros?

  1. It usually pains m whenever i read wenger talkn abt a best player bcs he would’nt buy them. I pray 2 see M’milla play 4 us up gooner…

  2. Never trust wenger, looks what he did droping gervino and chamberland on bench and fielding poor Ramsey. We lost the game before played.

  3. up Gunner, wenger should try to sign m’villa and podolski, inorder to have a strong squad.

  4. When Podolski comes, we have to go back to 4-4-2 formation. But I’m not sure if need M’vila.
