Alex Song: I give Robin the ball – and he scores!

3

The Arsenal (so-called) defensive midfielder Alex Song seems to spend most of his time nowadays helping out the attack or starting off offensive moves by sending long balls down the wings, or more often, into the path of Robin Van Persie.

He seems to be getting better at it in every game, and he thinks that he and the Dutchman have a very good understanding. Song said: “Everyone knows that Robin can make the difference in every single game he plays. We are happy and lucky to have him in our squad,”

“I work well with him in training and I know how he moves. When I have the chance I try to give him a good ball, and if I do that then I know he can score at any time.”

Van Persie seems to get better and better and can now score at will, no matter who gives him the ball, but that winner against Liverpool from Song’s long-range pass was something special. That is what is the definition of “teamwork”.

Keep it up lads!

  1. van persie is the hottes striker in the premiership who always scared defenders, with goal eyes every moment

  2. Heey,men-i love to see arsenal sufering, this war one of redknapp’s remarks,hahaha…….. the opposite’s eating him

  3. Song has created so many intelligent assists during this season even from a defensive midfield position. This is because the attacking midfield of Arteta and Ramsey had always tended to slow down the attacking pace. Imaging that assist to RvP which resulted in the wonderful volley from RvP against Everton.

RvP gave beauty to the pass from Song in the manner he volleyed the ball into the woodwork and into the net.
