Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti claims that he’s not interested in ripping Wenger of his most important man, and that if Robin Van Perise were to leave, it would not be for the Ligue 1.

According to the manager there are quite a few teams interested in the Dutch striker, but although the French rich club PSG were linked with Robin, a move won’t occur because the links were nothing but rumours and nothing was true about them.

“Robin van Persie is not our target but I think there are a number of other clubs who are interested in him.”

Arsene Wenger has been doing everything in his powers to keep the Dutch striker at the club, but despite his efforts it seems that Robin has made up  his mind and that he will be leaving the Gunners this season, after he stated that he has refused the contract extension.

Arsene Wenge managed to bring Giroud and Podolski, so you would naturally say that it wouldn’t be hard for him to replace Robin even though there’s a big skill gap between the Dutchman.

  1. Just for this one line “Robin van Persie is not our target but I think there are a number of other clubs who are interested in him”, i have seen at least one hundred stories in last five days!!!!!

  2. If you think the 2 players he has brought in are anywhere near the same level as van persie you are deluded. Giroud is the french version of grant holt and podolski is a winger and i would have oxo and walcott in the team before him any day of the week.
